What a wonderful coverage, thanks Gionni as always, of such a wonderful afternoon to celebrate a superb book produced with such dedication and courage. It is a Landmark Volume for Newcastle and as part of a process called Radical Newcastle, it will generate more good things as Good Things are meant to do. In the eithical sense, of course. Marilla
Three Cheers for the Editors and Lady Hamilton!!! CONGRATULATIONS all contributors and readers of this invaluable beginning of the complex narrative of Newcastle’s True History and proud Identity. My granny and my mum would have held it proudly in their Pommy-town, working class hands, And dad would have applauded the scholarship it holds. May it sell out in a week!! Marilla
How wonderful to have this resource available for those of us who couldn’t make it!!
I can sit at my computer here in Dublin and enjoy the speeches and sample the atmosphere of the night.
The magic of modern technology!
